Before you buy that AVCHD camcorder - make sure your editing software supports it!
Before you go out and buy that new AVCHD camcorder, be advised that Adobe, Apple, etc. do NOT support AVCHD directly in their video editing software.
This is a fact that I am now painfully aware of having agreed to accept footage I said I would edit from camera operators using these types of camcorders.

Do you have a User Group or other event (i.e. Code Camp) that I can broadcast live?
Hi Everyone,
Chuck Boyce here. I am looking for User Group meetings and other community events that I can broadcast live here on this site and then produce and publish as *extremely* low priced DVDs. I think this will be a great benefit to the community and I've had a lot of positive feedback from the idea.
Please let me know if you have any recommedations.
